What’s every musician’s dream? To be the next big thing! Screaming crowds frontstage, chill friends backstage, hip with the kids, scary to the parents, millions of records sold, and your name written in the book of legends alongside once-in-a-generation acts like Pig Floyd and The Beetles.

HALLOWEEN 2026, a new Ruler of Rock will be crowned at FurROCKalypse Music Festival. It may even be our own Spots the Cheetah! We didn’t know he could play an instrument. Though he’s definitely learned it by ear. If it were by eye, he’d be getting more of the notes right.

But the experimental approach may not be a problem; FurROCKalypse will be judged by Vincent DeVille, the off-kilter shock-rocker with a smile as crooked as his lyrics and hair as greasy as his bass lines. Vincent DeVille is backed by The Company, a mysterious and powerful recording studio with a reputation for spinning small-town straw into platinum. The transformation is so perfect, it’s almost as if The Company’s musicians have signed away their souls!

Spots has a lot of competition: anthro music artists are crossing the boundaries of time and genre to show their chops. Some of these furs look like they came straight out of the iconic eras of rock. One of them is a pale hair-metal weasel named Izzy Dedd who’s able to sneak behind the scenes like a ghost. Or IS he a ghost? What kinds of connections does The Company have?

We also overheard Vincent DeVille telling his superiors something about how “the planets are aligned” in the perfect way to “harness the power of 3,500 musicians” in order to “harvest the souls of everyone in the tri-state area”… but that’s probably normal industry talk. We don’t read contracts; we’re artists, not lawyers. So come rock with us! Just reach down, ease the seat back, and fall into this Rock N’ Roll Nightmare!
