What’s better than dressing in your favorite fursuit? How about adding a costume to it? It is Halloween after all, so Furpocalypse is bringing back the community Costume Contest that used to occur during the Masquerade (now Variety Show), but updated. This year, it truly is a contest!
Contestants will take photos of themselves in costume within the convention space at Furpocalypse 2024 and use the hashtag #FurpocFashion24 to post to X (formerly Twitter). The convention staff will review the submissions and submit their favorite 3 for crowd cheer voting during closing ceremonies! The photo that gets the most cheers will be given a free Furpocalypse 2024 Hoodie!
Rules
- Contestants must be following @FurpocalypseInc on X (formerly Twitter).
- Fursuits alone do not count as a costume for the contest.
- Individuals without a fursuit can enter the contest.
- Entries must have the photo taken within the hotel space.
- Entries must include the hashtag “#FurpocFashion24” to be considered.
- Entries must be posted no earlier than 6:00 PM EST Thursday, October 31st, 2024 and no later than 3:00 PM EST Sunday, November 3rd, 2024.
